- Graduate Position
We are advertising for two PhD studentships to join the University of Liverpool group of cryospheric researchers on the following topics:
- Understanding glacier dynamic change and iceberg risk evolution in Greenland (supervisors: James Lea, Stephen Brough, Penny How (GEUS) )
- Greenlandic tidewater glacier response to long-term climate change (supervisors: Douglas Mair, Isabel Nias, James Lea)
These projects are supported by University of Liverpool studentships which would fully cover UK-based applicants at the equivalent UKRI level of stipend, plus up to £5000 of research costs. Note that non-UK based applicants would receive the same level of financial support, but would need to cover the difference between UK and international fees.
Interested applicants should contact the lead supervisors of either (or both) projects for more information, and if they have any questions. The closing date for applications is 3rd May, 2023.
