We are advertising for two PhD studentships to join the University of Liverpool group of cryospheric researchers on the following topics:
- Understanding glacier dynamic change and iceberg risk evolution in Greenland (supervisors: James Lea, Stephen Brough, Penny How (GEUS) )

- Greenlandic tidewater glacier response to long-term climate change (supervisors: Douglas Mair, Isabel Nias, James Lea)

These projects are supported by University of Liverpool studentships which would fully cover UK-based applicants at the equivalent UKRI level of stipend, plus up to £5000 of research costs. Note that non-UK based applicants would receive the same level of financial support, but would need to cover the difference between UK and international fees.
