The Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies – Oceans Ice and Climate is currently seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate (Sea-Level Analyst) at the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS), University of Tasmania.

The 18-month position will focus on evaluating sea-level rise risks for Australia and Pacific Island nations using Antarctic Ice Sheet projections derived from the France–Australia–Finland collaborative Elmer/Ice model of Antarctica under future climate scenarios. The research associate will work with Dr. Chen Zhao, ice sheet modeller at IMAS, and Dr. Ben Galton-Fenzi, Director, Ice Sheet & Sea Level Section at Australian Antarctic Division, as well as international collaborators.
