The Mountain Research Initiative (MRI) is a global research coordination network that connects researchers and promotes integrated global change research in mountain regions worldwide. We are currently looking for a Scientific Project Officer (0.6 FTE) to join our Coordination Office team in Bern, Switzerland for a temporary 6-month fixed-term position starting in September 2026. This role will support MRI and GEO Mountains activities through project coordination, event organisation, stakeholder engagement, and communications. We’re seeking a motivated and organised 'all-rounder' with experience in project management, inter- and transdisciplinary research collaboration, and a keen interest in mountain research and global change.
