Piotr Angiel is an APECS Canada member as well as a professional nature, landscape and travel photographer. His Polar experience includes research and photography in Antarctica, Iceland, North Russia, and Canada. He is best known from his landscape and wildlife photographs he took during over two years of field research in Antarctica. His Antarctic photographs exhibition was presented during the International Year of Planet Earth (UNESCO) in Portugal 2008, and had over 15,000 visitors attended. His photos were used as covers of PNAS and Geografiska Annaler journals, and printed in numerous magazines. He has a strong desire to share his Polar passion with the community and he has done it by presenting over 75 outreach presentations using research photos.
