Who Needs More Time?
- Everyone says at one point or another "I don't have time"… Serge gives researchers some practical advice in a very humorous way on how to better structure your tasks to find enough time to walk your dog at the end of the day.

Presenter: Serge Lariviere - Université Laval//UQA/Cree Hunters and Trappers Income Security Board

Serge Larivière holds a B.Sc. in wildlife management from the Université du Québec à Rimouski, M.Sc. from Université Laval, and a Ph.D. from the University of Saskatchewan. Serge's interests include evolution, ecology, and management of North American furbearers and worldwide carnivores, as well as predator-prey relationships between carnivores and nesting birds. Serge is a professional affiliate at the University of Saskatchewan, and an adjunct professor at the University of Manitoba. He currently serves as General Manager for the Fédération des Trappeurs Gestionnaires du Québec in Sainte-Foy, Québec.

This video is part of the International Polar Year (IPY) Early Career Research Symposium held in Victoria, BC, Canada from 4-8 December 2009. The event was a career development workshop that brought 100 international young Arctic and Antarctic researchers and mentors together for a series of career development training sessions to develop professional skills, work with senior mentors, and develop international and interdisciplinary collaborations.
