AURORA Alumni Network and Arctic Youth Network are inviting you to an exciting webinar about decolonising environmental legal studies.

"As environmental law students, we dive deep into topics surrounding environmental protection, biodiversity conservation, and climate change mitigation and adaptation. Yet, we recognize significant gaps in our education which often overlook Indigenous and non-white perspectives on issues like ‚green colonialism’ and ‚environmental and climate justice’."
Our aim with this event is to draw attention to this problem and explore together why these gaps exist and how we can address them.
Join AURORA Alumni Network and Arctic Youth Network for an event that critically examines how we, as future environmental advocates, can push for the inclusion of diverse perspectives in our curriculum, demand institutional changes, and learn how to apply ethical and inclusive research practices, such as decolonial methodologies.
Let's rethink our education, challenge colinial mindsets, and work towards becoming more inclusive and responsible researchers in the field of environmental law.
When: 26th of February, 4PM EET Zone (1,5h)
Where: Online (Zoom)
The speakers will be announced soon!Register here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/16ISJFnnE0jQRiZ2CEjw_0I7nF4cKZHtZ_MoyOh7QQgg/edit
