Following the recent release of the IPCC’s AR6 Working Group (WG) I Report, CONSTRAIN and the IPCC are hosting an informative workshop to showcase how physically based climate emulators are contributing to the overall IPCC Sixth Assessment Report.

Leading figures in the work of the IPCC will discuss how climate emulators were used by WGI to produce future projections of temperature and sea-level rise, and how the emulator projections will inform the work of WGIII on the mitigation of climate change.

This will be followed by an expert panel discussion, and opportunities for Q and A.

Attendance is by registration only and places are limited, but you are encouraged to forward to interested people in your networks.

The Role of Climate Emulators in the AR6 Assessment is an online workshop organised as a collaboration between CONSTRAIN (a programme of research funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme) and the IPCC.
