The workshop is being jointly hosted by the Mountain Research Initiative (MRI) and the Integrated Land Ecosystem-Atmosphere Processes Studies (iLEAPS) research platform, as a contribution to GEO Mountains. It will take place in the afternoon of Friday 28 April in Vienna, Austria.

Attendees of the EGU General Assembly 2023 who will already be in Vienna that week are especially encouraged to apply to attend in person, although online participation will also be possible.
