Workshop: "Polar Winter Climate and Processes: Towards Filling Knowledge Gaps in the Understanding of the Coupled Climate System"
Registration and abstract submission by 14 March 2025.
The fully hybrid workshop will focus on four main themes:
1. Polar winter storms and climate impacts
2. Winter aerosols, clouds, and chemistry
3. Large-scale teleconnections
4. Identifying knowledge gaps
They encourage contributions from all relevant disciplines, including observations (both in situ and remote sensing), modeling, and theoretical research. Early career researchers are particularly encouraged to apply for travel fellowships to support their in-person participation in the workshop.
