The Antarctic Peninsula is a critical region of ocean exchange along the Antarctic coast, where the cold Weddell Sea and the warm Bellingshausen Sea meet. In this 3-day virtual workshop on “Ocean Connectivity and Exchange Across the Antarctic Peninsula: Processes and Impacts”, we will discuss the physical drivers modulating the ocean circulation and along-shore exchange in the region and their potential impact on biogeochemical processes.

The workshop will be held on October 14-16, 2025. We will hold three 2.5-hour sessions timed to span as many time zones as possible. Invited talks will be followed by short lighting presentations and discussions.
