IGS Global Seminar Series #7: "Fantastic fibre-optics! New technology in glacier seismic surveying"
Wednesday 03 June 2020, 08:00 - 17:00

Dear all

400 glaciologists can't be wrong! Join us on Wednesday for:

IGS Global Seminar Series #7:

Wednesday June 3rd, Dr Adam Booth, Leeds University UK

"Fantastic fibre-optics! New technology in glacier seismic surveying"

Please register in advance for the seminars - it seems that you can't register during the seminar itself, but if you have already registered you should be able to use the same link as last week (check and if it doesn't work just re-register). Once you have registered please check the link (you should see the waiting room I think). Any issues drop me an email and I'll try and help. There's a short question to answer - please tell me enough to accept you! I'll be doing that manually, so just be kind and make it obvious... (I'm a PhD student with X... or whatever). Using your work email would make my life really easy. Any issues drop me an email and I'll help if I can!

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the seminar.

Seminar times:

London - 9pm
Europe - 10pm
East Coast US - 4pm
West Coast US - 1pm
Delhi (+1) - 1.30am (sorry!)
Tokyo (+1) - 5am
Australia (+1) - 6am
New Zealand (+1) - 8am

The seminar will also be available afterwards on the Friends of the International Glaciological Society Facebook page so that you can watch it there if technology fails or you can't make it!

Hope to see you on Wednesday!
