Polar Outreach Catalogue

By working with Benedictine University, Lisle Illinois, my plan is to create and teach several college-level classes to disseminate the findings of the scientific studies presented at Oslo. I propose five classes for the following audiences: 1) Current high school and middle school teachers who teach climate or earth sciences. 2) Undergraduate elementary education majors. 3) Undergraduate secondary education majors. 4) Earth science majors. 5) Class to train additional instructors to teach these classes at other universities. Teacher and Student attitudinal surveys (pre- and post-) will be created to measure effectiveness of the teacher classes and the student inquiry lessons.
