Polar Outreach Catalogue

This project is to further develop and seek the formal certification of the successful Innu Environmental Guardians Program through Saint Mary's University in partnership with other institutions. Each year ten to twelve Innu Guardians learn how to identify and monitor climate change impacts on their ancestral lands. The data they collect contributes to the long-term monitoring effort in their region. An open learning program is being developed based on this program to test how the model could be implemented in other communities throughout the circumpolar north.
