Tired of cancelled fieldwork? Missing your daily procrastination fika by the coffee machine? Overloaded with Zoom calls and conferences (and currently reading this thinking, oh no, not another one?!)? Polar research has looked very different over the last year as we grapple with life under a global pandemic.
We'd like to invite you to reflect on the challenges of the year, both the good and the bad. We will be joined by two researchers who are going to be talking about their experiences during Covid-19, followed by group discussions. This hasn't been the easiest year for anybody, but for everything that hasn't gone as planned, people have been creatively adapting and problem solving, to keep research running. We hope you will take the chance to join us as we look back on this year, and forward to what 2021 will bring (hopefully fika again!)!
If you would like to join, sign up through the Google form and the link for the event will be sent to your email.
