Speakers: Camilla V. Marcinkowski (Mindfulness Teacher at Danish Centre of Mindfulness) and Maria Blach Nielsen (Research Advisor and Coach at Department of Biology, Aarhus University)
Many academia-specific stress triggers intensified during the ongoing pandemic, causing significant mental health issues especially among early career researchers. In this workshop Camilla and Maria will share background information, but especially guide practices in mindfulness and towards a kinder work ethic. Carving out time for mental health will benefit both you and your work. This workshop is suited for beginners in meditation, breath-work and new ways to structure your research, as well as those, who already experienced this path. After 1 hour of practice, we will share and discuss the most useful tools and shifts of perspective in order to stay mentally fit and on top of our research.
We are looking forward to see you in June!
