Passionate about the Arctic and a just, sustainable transition? Want to engage in meaningful discussions with youth from Europe and the Arctic?

Apply for the Arctic Youth Dialogue 2025, 22-27 June in Kittilä, Finland!

The Arctic Youth Dialogue is a platform aimed at fostering dialogue, understanding, and cooperation among young people interested in the Arctic region. This dialogue will gather about 35 youth from diverse backgrounds across Europe and the Arctic states to exchange ideas, perspectives, and experiences on Arctic topics.

The Arctic Youth Dialogue 2025 theme is: Youth Needs-Based Suggested Actions for a Just and Sustainable Transition. The outcomes of these discussions and workshops will be shared with the public during the EU-Arctic Youth Dialogue, held together with the EU Arctic Forum and the Indigenous Peoples’ Dialogue. The Arctic Youth Dialogue is part of the EU-funded Youth Together for Arctic Futures project.

Arctic Youth Dialogue aims to:

  • Provide a platform for young people to discuss Arctic climate and environmental issues.
  • Empower Arctic and European youth to become active participants in shaping the future of the Arctic region and foster cross-cultural understanding.
  • Foster collaboration among young European and Arctic inhabitants, including Indigenous People.

  • How can sustainable industries develop in harmony with the Arctic environment and communities?
  • How can we create a more interconnected Arctic through sustainable and accessible transportation?
  • What do youth need to drive sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship in the Arctic?

We are seeking a diverse group with different experiences and encourage people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, genders and abilities to apply. For those of you who are already involved with the Youth Together for Arctic Futures project, we encourage you to apply and take on a leadership role during the dialogues.
