Youth Together for Arctic Futures Launches Small-Grants for Youth-Led Arctic Change Projects

Young changemakers passionate about shaping the Arctic’s future through art, culture, climate, or nature action are invited to apply for the new Youth Together for Arctic Futures Small-Grants Programme.

WWF

The initiative aims to empower youth and youth-led organisations across the circumpolar Arctic to drive community-based solutions to pressing social and environmental challenges. Two grants will be awarded in this call, offering both financial support and project guidance from the Youth Together for Arctic Futures team.

  • Grant 1 – Youth Realities & Identity in the Arctic:
Focuses on celebrating and preserving Arctic cultural identity through creative expression, including short films, photo essays, murals, and projects documenting local languages, oral histories, or traditional knowledge.

  • Grant 2 – Youth Action for Arctic Futures:
Supports youth-led climate and nature initiatives, from advocacy campaigns and policy labs to training programs that build young people’s capacity to shape environmental and policy decisions for a sustainable Arctic future.

This call offers Arctic youth a chance to lead change, amplify their voices, and envision resilient Arctic futures through culture and action.
