About the program

A joint initiative by APECS Canada and Arctic Science journal to support early-career scientists (ECS) in gaining experience with the peer review and publishing process.


Participants will:
- Deepen their understanding of scientific publishing;
- Access training resousces, webinars and workshops;
- Learn about Open Sciences initiatives;
- Contribute to advancing polar research by actively participating in the peer review process.

Who's eligible?

- A national or international polar ECS;
- Any area of expertise and discipline, provided their work is related to northern polar regions, including Indigenous and scientific knowledge;
- No previous publishing or reviewing experience is required;
- APECS membership encouraged, though not required.
