The International Polar Foundation and its many Arctic stakeholder partners would like to cordially invite you to take part in the 10th annual Arctic Futures Symposium, which will be held at the Residence Palace, Rue de la Loi / Wetstraat 155, in Brussels' EU Quarter on the 25th of November, from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm. Every year, the Arctic Futures Symposium creates discussions and exchanges between Arctic stakeholders from different backgrounds and perspectives over key challenges and issues the Arctic is facing.
The focus of this year's symposium will be Addressing the Challenges of a New Decade in the Arctic.
The symposium will feature panel discussions that cover a number of key topics chosen by Arctic stakeholder partners including:
- What is on the horizon for the Arctic Council in the coming years
- Arctic safety and security
- Gender considerations in the Arctic
- The Arctic labour force and demographics
- The sustainable Arctic bio-economy
The symposium promises to deliver lively discussions on each of topics topics.

The event is free of charge and open to all.
However, if you would like to attend the event, registration is required, as it helps the event managers to better plan the logistics of the event and meet participants' needs.
