PAGES ECN is an early-career network for members of PAGES, from ECRs for ECRs in paleo sciences. It is our pleasure to announce our next PAGES ECN webinar, with the topic "How to successfully apply for academic jobs in science". The webinar will be held on 12 May.
In this webinar, Professor Timothy Bralower will share information with us from the lectures he made for his students on this topic. After your PhD or, your first postdoc, it can be difficult to find the next position in your career. In this time when everyone has a large set of skills, it might pay off to work on our job application skills as well.
The webinar will be organized on Tuesday 12 May in two time slots (12 pm UTC and 5 pm UTC) and will last about one hour. At the end of each session there is the opportunity to ask Prof Bralower your questions. No registration is required, just make sure you have the Adobe Connect plugin installed beforehand.
